Letter Pimps, yeah we had our share of these and they were dead weight, plain and simple. The theory is that a chapter of 170 really dedicated, fantastic sisters was far preferable to a chapter of 300 where 60 of them were dead weight and thus caused problems with participation numbers.

@PNM Theta has nearly 130 college chapters at colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada and more than 250,000 total initiated members. Also Theta has close to 200 alumnae chapters and groups because Theta is for a life time.

Thetas had an incredible recruitment in this lovely year of 2012. 130 new members I believe and no snap bids?! YES! They've had their ranking low because people held their numbers against them but they've made a remarkable turn around, albeit with bumps in the road. I STILL think that they need to get more in tune with the culture and customs of the deep south, it would help their image to patronize Ole Miss and pick up more lady-like ways. A lot of yankee girls that are probably confused when they get here.

Let me say that Thetas at Ole Miss are absolutely beautiful and anyone should be proud to wear the letters! But is it just me, or does it kind of look like they are making a vajayjay symbol with their hands? Still, beautiful chapter!!
