I was a gamma phi beta, and went through recruitment thinking I was living the dream. After I dropped, nobody wanted to maintain friendships with me, and when I was in the friendships were all clearly surface level. If you want a genuine sorority, this is not it. If you want to be surrounded by fake girls who only care about Instagram posts & gray parties… then this is your place. You have one chance with recruitment, don’t make choices about perceived popularity. Instead choose people who choose & value you.

They seemed to bid more girls than usual during fall/spring virtual recruitment so it'll be interesting to see if they can maintain the growth this fall. Nice girls overall

I must say that as a PNM going thru recruitment this chapter has been the most welcoming, loving and easy to connect with. They’re genuinely friendly, very involved with the school/community, big on sisterhood, pretty inside and out. Speaking from experience from meeting several of the girls during recruitment, they genuinely have qualities that define what it means to be in a sorority. I really don’t know why the past ratings have been dwindling. The past comments seem to be coming from other chapters, but that’s just what it comes across as with all the direct threats being thrown around towards a sorority that is actually very welcoming.
