Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority Ratings at CSUF

Rushed this house 25 years ago. I have never been sorry. Definitely for life, as I still hang with my sisters today…girl’s trips, reunions, nights out. They are accomplished, funny, phenomenal, diverse…I couldn’t be prouder to be a CSUF SK.

Insincere,cliquey, overall mid. You'll see the same groups of 2-4 girls together and if you don't fall in line and agree with everything 100% at all times, you're not worth their time. It's not for life; you'll be lucky if it's for a semester.

SK is the sorority that everyone loves but keeps it lowkey bc of what others might say. like the type of girls who are chill, yet social and always rush for the right reasons. you have you’re incredibly smart and party-goers. easy to start up hour long conversations with almost all that i meet. well rounded and deserve higher rankings!

I must say that as a PNM going thru recruitment this chapter has been the most welcoming, loving and easy to connect with. They’re genuinely friendly, very involved with the school/community, big on sisterhood, pretty inside and out. Speaking from experience from meeting several of the girls during recruitment, they genuinely have qualities that define what it means to be in a sorority. I really don’t know why the past ratings have been dwindling. The past comments seem to be coming from other chapters, but that’s just what it comes across as with all the direct threats being thrown around towards a sorority that is actually very welcoming.

they form cliques but thats every house. they all seem to be friends and have friends from the same house. half the girls are cute/decent while other half not so much. some of the girls are pretty wealthy. i mean they seem like nice girls. some of the girls party some dont i mean its like that with every house. however they really shouldn’t have ghosted people but glad to see that they’re not just taking in anyone.

SK was super nice during the zoom meetings but they did end up ghosting girls after their last general meeting. I didn’t appreciate that because I was left in the dark and never heard from them again. SK seems to have an ok sisterhood if you’re a girl who fits with their personalities. Not to be rude but many of the girls I noticed were very “couch potato” like they didn’t seem active more like girls who just watch Netflix. But that’s just my opinion but if you’re someone who does sports I don’t think you’ll generally fit in. One girl said that the sisters used to buy a cake every night and watch the bachelor which sounds fun but like I just don’t think t hat should’ve been said. Like when I heard that I wrote them off because why would I want to be with girls who really just don’t do much. They also aren’t very involved on campus like I’ve never once seen them and only knew who they were this year because I net someone who was in the sorority. Overall girls are very inactive both on campus and physically so if you want involvement and have an active lifestyle I say pick another house.

A great sisterhood with nice girls! Actually got to know girls throughout the COB process. So sweet.

meeting with these girls through online recruitment has been super fun! they are all so nice and actually make an effort to reach out to girls who want to go through recruitment. I have not had a single negative interaction with any of the girls, they are all super genuine and sweet, I hope it isn't just a front lol.
