description of each sorority
by: Objective OpinionI wanted to focus on each sorority and give an unbiased opinion while remaining honest and without bashing. I believe each PNM should go through recruitment and find their own home. Each of the 4 sororities on UTD's campus have amazing women and each goes through its own bouts of ups and downs. No matter which you choose, you WILL find women who you love and who you dislike, but what matters most is that you will have found your home. Go Greek and UTD Pan Love <3

Alpha Gamma Delta: These are the fun, social girls on campus. Think of that one friend who is the life of the party. That's them. They are the ones who are always dancing together on the dance floor and the ones who know how to have a good time. They have some beautiful gems as well. Probably the "hottest" sorority on campus. They are always smiling when you see them on campus. Though they often suffer from cattiness and drama within the chapter, it seems as though both fraternities and other sorority women enjoy hanging out with the AGD's.

This sounds a bit bias and untrue. I wouldn't say that ADG is the hottest on campus. Nor would I sat that they are social on campus, you just see them at parties.

Alpha Gamma Delta is definitely the most down to earth, fun sorority. Yeah they may not have the highest GPA or be the most nationally ranked, but they are the most enjoyable to be around. I wouldn't say they are the "hottest" sorority on campus, but the hottest girls are the most annoying, and I wouldn't say some of them are bad to look at. Point being, AGD may not be the highest in certain qualities, but they are the most well rounded sorority.

Delta Delta Delta: Tri-Delt has much improved since I came to campus a few years ago and that's a good thing. They are still struggling with their identity and suffer from drama and a divide, but I believe they seem to want to portray the "Southern Belle" sorority type. They have had a strong switch in leadership and have done very well in recruitment the past two years. It is very impressive the improvement they have made as they went from having to snap bid just a few years ago to now being one of the most desired houses on campus.

DDD has not been here for a few years. I believe they have been here since 2008(?). The sorority that has the most drama and internal issues is definitely DZ. DDD has the second highest GPA, neck and neck with Theta. Nationally, DDD is a strong sorority.

Definitely most improved. Half of the sorority is normal and the girls we invite to parties, half of the girls we have never seen before or you wouldn't know they are in a sorority.

Yea DDD really had some hot girls during the last recruitment I'm not going to name names but there are is one girl who I have had intrest in

Delta Zeta: The newest sorority. They don't really have much of a sorority identity, but from what I have seen, these are the sweet, genuine and quirky girls. They seem to prioritize academics (they have the highest GPA) and sisterhood. They are not the "hottest", but they also have some quality, social girls, especially form the founding class. I'd say they are the girl next door types. They, too, have suffered drama, like all the other sororities. To be honest, they are what Tri Delta used to be and we all have seen the rise that Tri Delt has made, so it will be interesting to see how they shape themselves as time goes on, but seems to be a solid group of nice, smart women.

This is pretty accurate. Nationally, DZ is not very strong. They are growing. Not strong in Texas. They went from having the highest gpa in Panhellenic to #3, just barely ahead of agd.

They don't have the highest GPA even though a lot of their girls seem unaware of this and keep telling PNMs they do. Theta currently has the highest GPA, followed by Tri Delt, then DZ, then AGD.

Kappa Alpha Theta: Theta used to be undoubtedly the most desired house on campus, but with the other sororities on the rise for different reasons, it has challenged Theta. However, they are still doing well. Their last pledge class was very attractive and they have girls involved in EVERYTHING on campus. And though they've dealt with some drama and catty-ness, they are the most accomplished sorority. They are the sorority that have women in the most organizations on campus and seem to be the most involved. They have a strong politician's wife/trophy wife type of feel.

Theta has been at the top for a while and has the hottest girls in my opinion. They used to be the top by a lot, but now some of the sororities (Tri Delt) are starting to improve and its so dominant. These are the most career-driven and involved people I know. This past year they made a lot of changes and I think its has really strengthened their chapter with the new president and officers.

Theta is the hottest on campus. AGD has the lowest gpa and is neck to neck with DZ. Nationally, AGD is not a strong sorority.
