I loved Kappa when I rushed. I ended up dropping and not joining a sorority, but all the girls were so funny and genuine, and I felt so comfortable there. Definitely a top house for that reason. These girls are so outgoing they could literally talk to a brick wall and become friends with it.

When I rushed, the girls I spoke to were really nice but their system was weird. I'm not sure if they didn't have enough actives, but it was two pnms to one active which made it hard to connect. Also there was that whole racism scandal with their president and a few other girls who held positions a few years ago, so I don't know how well that reflects on their chapter as they were the ones to vote for those girls...

Lots of cool-down to down-to-earth beer drinkers enjoying brews and sharing laughs. Stand-up lads with a knack for acquiring the most palatable ipas in Lawrence so they can sip a few and make some friends. Overall alarmingly big chillers who dont mind kicking back and letting them hang.
