Delta Upsilon - ΔΥ Fraternity at University of Florida - UF 1.5 As a former DU brother at this chapter, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Delta Opps I joined the wrong frat. When I was there, absolute beta males. I left due to a massive amount of drug use and the house becoming very hostile. A few years after I left, they did a reorganization but it seems that DU still cannot talk to women and are going after freshmen still. DU is slowly dying and I can assure you that when I was there were 80 brothers. Now there are barely 40. The DU house smelled like aged piss the whole time I was there and we cleaned extensively. There were incidents involving brothers threatening people with knives after I went inactive. There was borderline hazing going on involving blindfold drinking and doing dabs in the basement. No one respected us after 2014. I expect DU to go away in a few years because they are really one or two bad rush seasons away from extinction. DU when I was there did these summer bids and that was hugely disappointing since when fall came these bidders would think of themselves as full members and we lost half of them some years due to that change in attitude in Fall-Spring. DU in summer is a trap for freshmen like me over a decade ago now. DU failed to help most of its members get to positions of influence and Florida Blue Key was the focus for a small elite cadre while every other campus activity got ignored. Dance Marathon was always a big event but it never really consisted of more than a few weeks. Blood drives were fueled with the belief that it is easier to get drunk with less blood in your body. Remember girls, DU guys act nice to try to seduce you with the nice guy approach that almost always fails. I remember the entire house playing Smash Bros tournaments instead of smashing.

Delta Upsilon - ΔΥ Fraternity at University of Florida - UF 2.7 They have a pretty terrible house but they’re fairly nice to strangers that do not actively try to harass them. Currently around 35-40 members before fall rush. They do not currently interact with other Greek organizations outside of events.
