Strip Your Letters

It focuses on issues in KU’s Greek life specifically but many of the issues are problems found in Greek life at every school. It’s always a good idea to educate yourself before committing to something like this and especially so that you can be part of the solution not the problem regarding these issues!

You make it sound like all of Greek life is the issue. most chapter are fine, healthy and supportive of everyone. Idk why some sorority girls should strip down what they worked for because somewhere some other organization is doing bad things. Promote good don't promote bad,no?

There are many good things about being a part of a Greek organization. However, there are also many other factors that result in Greek life being a negative experience for many people. It is not a one bad apple type situation, and it is uninformed to assume that most chapters are unconditionally supportive of all their members in an equal way. This movement was created to encourage men and women in Greek organizations to push their members in positions of power to enact change and create and reform policies to protect and support their members. We do not want sorority women to strip down what they have worked for. We want them to demand more from their organizations so that they can be even more proud to be a part of them.
