This school gets a bad reputation but it isn’t that bad. If you join greek life here, you will either LOVE it or hate it - I haven’t seen much in between.

Ight Greek life here gets a bad rap but honestly, it’s fun as hell. No it’s not like an SEC school but I’ve partied at all the mid western schools and honestly it’s not that much better, if better at all, anywhere else. Only thing better is the housing. Our housing is so bad.

Some of the frats and sororities here are high key bogus. I’ve personally experienced racism and I’ve seen transphobia and homophobia. I think ISU needs to regulate who is in the frats and sororities better

I think isu is a decent school when it comes to greek life. it's definitely no bama or u of i but it's definitely good if you want to be a part of something. many different organizations that are different and ultimately get a bad rep for no reason. yes it's greek life so many will make assumptions but coming from personal experience the people that hate are the ones that just haven't experienced it. If you have and don't like it just means it isn't for you.
