Chi O is on probation but yes, they can have still have dances. If YOU like the women and have really clicked with them, who cares what others say? Chi O is a great chapter, and many others sororities here have been on probation at one point. It happens.

If you like them and are invited back, go for it. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Especially others from another chapter. Trust your gut.

Please don’t put too much stock in this site, either. While we should all be getting along as a Panhellenic community, there will always be those others posting BS to tear down other chapters and self-ranking themselves to look better.

no, I am not a Chi O.

A lot of babies dropped because they couldn’t live in. They are on probation for many reasons. My friend is in chi o and she was dirty rushed she hated it and dropped because they make them pay high dues but don’t tell them what they are paying for. Doesn’t make sense that they have high dues when they never have sisterhoods or dances.

go with who you love. i can say that they are on probation. they make try to convince you that it is a good thing, but if you want the social aspect of a sorority you won’t be getting much from them. they also fine heavily

yes they are on probation for awhile so they will not be able to have any events including dances so even if you love it you might want to reconsider

It’s definitely a concern you should have they tend to hide a lot of stuff from their new members but you need to go with your gut if you like them go for it.

sure join a sorority you can literally not participate in anything with just because of the popularity status hahaha
