fraternity tier ranking (theoretical)
by: SchmuckI know people get heated over this subject but I think it’s helful for incoming freshman. Could we get a tier list on what fraternities you guys think are top middle and low based on social life/ academics. <Active Chapters only>

We could very well see Sigma Pi and Kappa Sigma above Acacia in the fall due to Acacia’s lack of house next semester.
Houses are big in rank (but not everything obviously) so we’ll have to see how the newbies handle it. As far as Lambda Chi and Sigma Alpha Mu I still believe they are both houseless. No doubt though the AGR house and Pi Beta Phi houses will pull numbers for these guys who May have struggled in the past

I've heard a lot of different things about how Acacia's living situation will be in their new place. If they can't pull it off, I agree and could see Sigma Pi and Kappa Sigma maybe passing them. But if Acacia gets their new place up to par, I think they would retain their spot. But we will have to see what they do. Same with KS using Pi Phis house because that has never been a fraternity house before.
It will be interesting to see which of the newer fraternities step up their game with rush. It'll be a battle for Sammy, LXA, Phi Psi, and ATO to swoop in and get those numbers.

it wasn't built to be a frat house but I feel like ksig can make it work out for the years they have the house, I could honestly see them taking over that area of campus in a couple years as they'll have a steady influx of the new members and geed girls that live in tri having somewhere close to rage

TOP:
-Pi Kapp (cookie cutter brads, nice house, talks to every sorority)
-Alpha Sig (cookie cutter chads, also nice house, less edgy than pi kappa phi)
Top Middle:
-Sig Nu (very well known last year, fell off a bit this year due to no house but will no doubt make a come up next year)
-FIJI (I hate to put them here cause they’re pledges are so mid, but they do have the nicest house so they deserve it)
Middle:
-Acacia (no house next semester, could see this being the end of them with the two below now having nice houses)
-Sigma Pi (have been known in the past to have a bad rep, has a better house next year... The AGR house)
-Kappa Sigma (new house in the fall, seems like a few more people know who they are which could be potentially good for them)
Bottom:
Farmhouse (will always be bottom, sorry)
Sigma Alpha Mu (no house hard to be involved)
Lambda Chi (? never seen any of them)

Word on the street is that the aggers absolutely wrecked their house since they have been given the boot. This could be an issue for Sig Pi, and give a leg up to the Kappa Sigs who are inherriting a pretty clean house

Lol not really an issue it'll be fixed up, alumni are going to want people to live in it so they won't lose money. even if they don't fix it. wrecked AGR house > Clean pi phi house

-Alpha Sig(no explanation needed)
-Pi Kapp
Top Middle:
-Sig Nu(Could move to up with their house next semester)
-FIJI (Would be a mid-tier at any other school, but their house is considered really good here)
Mid-tier:
-Sigma Pi (Rising with a new house and good members)
Lower Mid Tier:
-Sigma Alpha Mu (Heard they may be getting a satellite house)
-Kappa Sigma (new house in the fall, but with a terrible location)
-Acacia(was mid-tier but will be lower mid due to the housing situation)
Bottom:
-Farmhouse
-Lambda Chi

Yeah Sammy is below Kappa Sigma, and Acacia. Although depending on Acacias housing situation they could be bottom tier.
