They may not be considered top house, but I think you should seriously look into Alpha Tau Omega. They have a really nice house, and the guys always have each others backs. Great brotherhood, good involvement, and they have been getting some really good guys in recent pledge classes so who knows where they will stand in another year or two!

Sig Ep has had their charted pulled and are no longer a fraternity and won't be able to restart for a few years and have a long history of getting the boot.

I have nothing against Alpha Sigs, they're chill guys, but top house socially? That's pushing it. Beyond pushing it.

For anyone to even compare SAE as a serious discussion on this post is hilarious. Anyone who references how "strong" they are nationally is compensating for there lack of a presence on this campus and is obviously an SAE trolling this page. SAE isn't even allowed to formally recruit this semester. They have NO house an do not even understand how to operate a fraternity. Don't try and act as though you can be compared to PIKE or Sig chi, and to even put yourself ahead of DCHI OR DSIG, is even funnier. You have very little to offer besides some apartment parties and some subpar promises of eventually getting a house.

Sounds like another fraternity member scared that sae is already the 4th largest house on campus after one semester of existence. Sorry the footsteps are scarying u. We can recruit formally, we are a recognized colony by ifc and nationals. Getting a house by next fall is the easy part after, maybe it will be your house we will take clown. Nationally means a whole hell of a lot when sigma chi and pikes are the only other good houses on campus and much respect to those orgs. However, there isnt a university on this earth where sae is on campus where the likes of lower tier fraternities like delta sig and delta chi are even close to as good as sae is and thats an undisputable fact. You call it trolling, label it whatever you want but if you arent in sigma chi or pike you arent even worth talking to bc youre a pathetic member of a tiny, insignificant fraternity. Its on bro and theres nothing you can do to contain it. Any campus you go to huge orgs like sae and sigma chi, who are the clear national top level in a class by themselves, and sig eps, pikes make up the top tier unless they arent at that school or coming off suspension or brand new. Eventually orgs like this are on top just like sae was here before they got the boot and already are now. Its happening all around you. The revolution is happening and you are scared. U should be, its out of your control. Its back to bid night with tri sigs and adpi for u. Sorry for your luck

Just because SAE is very good nationally that doesnt automatically make them top house. I believe they will contribute a lot to greek life here and will be in top tier eventually but you have to work for it and earn it. I would rank them after Pike Sig Chi and Delta Chi to be honest but they have a lot of potential.

You are very right. Whether it be sae or any new fraternity on any campus, you have to put in the hard work it takes to be a good house. Looks like they are off to a good start.

Go to the house u think is a good fit for u. If I was doing it again, I would stick to sig chi, pike and sae. Each is top tier nationally and will be here for the future. Not that it matters all that much locally, but so u know, sae and sig chi are the undisputed national kings. Next tier which all are excellent is sig ep, pike, lambda chi. Next which are all very good is kappa sig, delts, betas, phi delts, ato. Next tier is sig nu, fiji, phi delts and tke.
