If KKG comes to ISU all the "top houses" are screwed. ZTA, DZ, sorry but KKG is a Powerhouse National sorority and will easily easily rise to the top just becuase of their reputation.

Pretty much on par with DG. Which is why sororitys didint want DG on campus becuase everyone wants to be a DG

KKG has already colonized.

And yes it has a strong national reputation, but no freshman goes through recruitment concerned about national ranking. It'll take at least four years for KKG to make a presence. And where are they going to live?? We don't have many Greek housing options on this campus.

I've heard from Kappas I know at other schools their HQ is working to have a chapter house for them the year after their first formal recruitment, so supposedly by Fall 2018

Their colonization is Fall 2018, so their first formal recruitment will technically not be until Fall 2019, and I can't see them waiting until Fall 2020 for a house. Plus if Pi Beta Phi is their sister sorority and they fold they may as well sell their house to KKG.

Their nationals are building them a 1.3 million dollar house for fall 2019

So I am confused from reading this thread...either KKG isn't pushing a frat out of their house or they are tearing down the frat house to build another. Which is it?

Hi, KKG nationals bought Phi Psi's old house from the owners of the house. They will be REMODELING it I believe.

KKG has been invited to colonize here in Fall 2018. They were chosen over two other presenters, Alpha Sigma Tau and Alpha Phi.

This Fall, KKG has been invited to colonize at no fewer than four universities. Each Greekrank Page for those schools has been posted with the typical "How do you think KKG will do here?" entry. It's one of the ways they gain exposure on social media.

I do feel a bit uneasy that Pi Phi and AOPi will not have much time to bid new members up to chapter total before KKG colonizes. A few other sororities will have need of additional members by Spring 2018 due to graduations, transfers and such.

Eventually Kappa should do just fine in recruitment, as they were founded right here in Illinois at Monmouth College (as was Pi Beta Phi). Their number of collegiate and alum chapters in Illinois is strong and growing.

Kkg sucks ass, bought the phi psi house right under their noses

You snooze, you lose. Most sororities are far more stable and financially solvent than fraternities on the same campus. So that may help explain it. If Phi Psi is strong, they’ll get adequate housing.

Give it a year or two they’ll be top house. That’s just what KKG does. Honestly bought time we have a new sorority here. They all pretty much suck
