how to stand out for rushing

The very best gift you can give any sorority is the gift of YOU. Nothing and no one else matters. How you stand out can only depend upon you and how you are perceived by others. Be exactly what and who you are, not merely someone you think others may desire.

Be yourself and go in with an open mind. There are many wonderful sororities on campus, including Zeta and Chi O. Don't try to become what you think "they" want. Do you! I promise you if you go in and be genuine, you will find the perfect home for you. Good luck!

You already sound like you're going into the process with a narrow mind. Yes Chi O and Zeta are wonderful chapters, but so are several others. Make sure that you are being true to yourself during the process and choosing the chapters you love and not the ones you think "everybody" wants. It may be chi o and zeta, or it may be adpi, agd, aopi, etc. Anyway, good luck!

Avoid mindless conversation! It should be the chapter member who should lead the conversation, but try to ask questions or talk about things you have in common! Music, travels, involvement in high school, interesting summer stories! That is the best way to stand out!
