how to get into zeta or chi o

Hey I'm an incoming freshman and my older friends said they got dropped by zeta the first day and they have no idea why. If I know someone in the house is it an automatic in? I heard chi o dropped some people too.

Zeta has a high GPA requirement that's why so many people get dropped on the first day. If it's below the requirement u get dropped no matter how much the girls like you. Also it's not an automatic in in any house if you know people bc several people are involved in the voting process!

Top houses are required to drop the largest percentage of pnms simply because they ARE so popular. It's an NPC rule and strictly enforced. So if ALL ISU pnms are top tier material, those top tier homes have their wide pick of the pnms and most pnms are going to be cut from top homes, ALWAYS. That is why everyone tells pnms to have eyes, heart and mind wide-open to joining any of our fine sororities because there will ALWAYS be a limit to the number of top tier new members on Bid Day. Always.

nothing is an automatic in. go into recruitment with an open mind, they always say trust the system but it really does work. if you give whatever house you give a bid a chance you will be happy. p

These sororities are hard to get into because they're top houses. My friends knew girls in ZTA from high school and still didn't get in. Nothing is for sure or "in the bag"

Do isu sororities and frats care a lot about high school gpa? How crucial is it in rushing?

Yes, GPA is important, and as we tell all of our pnms Be Very Open Minded when you rush. If you have a low GPA you will be very lucky and hopefully happy in receiving a bid from one of our homes.

Sometimes there are certain GPA requirements! Don't focus too much on the looks or who you know, and don't be too upset if you don't get asked back, it is sometimes out of their control!
