how to get a bid

I rushed stupidly in the fall. Basically suicide on day 1 to a top house (Sig Nu). I feel like it's easier to get involved in greek life as a girl because you spend a whole week and literally 10 hours a day going to various houses etc. My question is how do i really make an impression and get a bid in the spring? I won't be rushing any top houses but I'm just curious.
