Here's something to wrap your head around. There's probably going to be 1000 guys going through rush. That means they are probably going to be 600 plus going to the top tier frats like ASIG, DChi, and pi kapp. And 400plus for ATO and phi psi and a good amount to the rest of the frats. Each frat only invites 60-80 to the invite dinner and only give bids to 30-40. Also through out the semester 7-12 pledges get dropped.

Is it possible to get a bid from two houses and what if you don't get a bid from the house you want do you ask another house for one like middle tier house

Yes it's possible to get bids from multiple houses. If you get a bid from two houses then you're lucky you have options but you can only pick one and its easy not to get a bid from a house because if you don't like a frat then just don't go to their house during rush.
