sorority rush
by: Ashley316I'm thinking about getting a job next semester AND rushing. Is this a bad idea?
#1by: No
Rush is a one week commitment on a weekend when most people leave town anyway. Just let them know you won't really be available during that week (you will still need to balance hw, rush, and sleeping) and you should be fine. If you can't handle having a part time job and just life, then maybe it would be good to work on that.

Not really sure what this noobie is talking about above, But I would highly suggest not working and pledging at the same time. It would be very hard to do that and keep up a good gpa. Some houses have very hard pledge processes and some are a joke. So ask around first to figure that out. Think of pledging like a full time class, with a few "activities" thrown in there lol. Just get the job after your done pledging and you Gucci.

You'll be okay! I have a job and am in one and it's fine for the most part I have to do some rearranging but if you just communicate with your sorority throughout the year they're usually pretty understanding. As far as rush week I would definitely request that off!
