sororities
by: ErinI'm going to be an incoming freshman at isu in the fall and i was wondering how much hazing actually goes on typically in the sororities and its extent. I know it's dorky that I'm literally looking up each sorority online but I just don't want to make a mistake I would regret for the rest of my four years at isu. Also, what is the social life like as a Greek typically and which sororities I should avoid?

Going with fo sho said, after you accept a bid after recruitment you have a while before you are initiated to back out and be eligible to re-rush in spring or fall. Not all houses do spring rush tho so keep that in mind too.
Also, as far as hazing, in the past few years there have been a few houses that do little things like serenades, etc that could be considered hazing. With everything going on I doubt any will. When you go through recruitment, if you stick to your gut you'll get a true conception about how genuine the girls are being with you. Those girls are the ones who don't want to force a sister into anything she isn't comfortable with
