Let's be real...no one at ECU had ECU as their first choice. For most people it's their "fall back" or safety school. Where did you want to go? My first choices were UNC and NCSU. Got rejected by both.

I got into William Peace, UNC Charlotte , App and ECU. I like ECU but wish I had chosen App. Greenville is an armpit. Boone would be so much better

Really wanted UNC Chapel Hill. My brother is there. I got deferred, deferred again and then rejected. It's ok - I go Chapel Hill almost every weekend.

Shockingly, ECU was my first choice. The nursing school here is great and probably the best one in the state. With that being said, I want to go to graduate school to become a nurse practitioner and only ECU and Duke offer the speciality that I want to go into. For what I want to do as my career I would get more of a quality education here than at UNC or any other university.

ECU nursing school is mediocre, just like everything else. UNC nursing school is ranked 17 in the nation. ECU isn't even ranked.
