Why do people want to join the pathetic life at ECU? People do nothing but laugh and insult the greek system. Do you want to go through that? It doesn't help that everyone looks the same. The girls wear baggy t shirts and those pajama botoms while the guys wear short shorts and their girlfriends t shirts. I had a class with greek people and my IQ almost dropped from their stupidity. People who join greek life do nothing but party and their a waste of space and air.

Maybe Greek life isn't for you but people decide to join Greek life because they want to give back to the community, meet people who share similar interests, as well as meet new people. Some of the most studious people I know are Greek. While there are positive aspects of Greek life, there are people who still have just as much fun and meet as many people outside of Greek life. It boils down to the person's particular interests. To each, their own.

Also, according to the Chancellor in an article posted by the ECU newspaper, those who are in Greek Life have higher GPA's across the board than that of the typical student at ECU because we are held to higher standards in our organization. Sry nOt sry
