hazing. is it that bad?
by: Future PNMSo, what exactly do sororities do when they "haze"? Like, do they just make the girls sing stupid songs and dress up everyday or do they do things that could put someone in danger of harming themselves or that would absolutely embarrass them? BE HONEST!!!

No one at East Carolina hazes including Sigma and DZ. No one would put others in danger, and why would anyone haze someone they chose to be in the sorority and why would they risk losing their chapter that they worked so hard to build? This website is so dumb and false and no PNMs should ever look at this site. Members of sororities should stop bashing others on this site because in the end ECU has a great Greek Life and each sorority is great in its own way, so start focusing on that and why you joined your current sorority and stop hating on others.

The rumors had to come from somewhere right? I think every sorority is guilty of hazing badly at some point in their history of being at ECU, but that doesn't mean that they put girls' lives in danger. Like the comment above said, it could hurt their sorority and can also cause them to lose members. Fast. But no one really knows what goes on in a sorority unless they are in it. If you really want to know, talk to a girl in one of the "hazing" sororities and make sure it's someone who will give you an honest answer.

I was hazed. I had to memorize the founders, where head quarters are, info about the sorority, and all of that stuff.

Chi o hazes but not like you would think, just blindfolded many times and told to do things for the sisters. I know DZ stuffed girls in trunks and also their bigs allowed thier littles to be hazed/degraded by the other sisters during big little reveal, then they were saved by their bigs, whenever they began crying. I have heard from sigma and alpha phi sisters that they were yelled at a lot during rush. Axid has had to run laps around their house due to incorrect quizzes. Everyone hazes be prepared.
