Sororities help you to get involved via philanthropy, social functions, and they provide a close knit sisterhood! Greek life is an awesome way to get involved at ECU particularly when it comes to social functions and making friends because there are always coordinated events. As far as the meal plans go it's different for every sorority. Some make meal plans a requirement if you live in the house others don't, some offer meal plans if you don't live in the house. Some sororities have personal chefs and others get their meals catered. Usually lunch and dinner are provided in the meal plan and they expect you to provide your own breakfast. Every sorority is allowed to have 8 socials a semester but sometimes you're not able to have that many just depending on the circumstances. You'll learn the specifics about each sorority during formal recruitment in the Fall!
