is it hard to get a bid? what is spring rush like?

I want to rush, but I don't want to end up having to settle or not getting a bid. I am aiming for a middle tier frat. Also, what is Spring fraternity recruitment like? It's not being advertised as heavily as Fall rush.

most do spring rush. it's not as advertised just because not a lot of people rush compared to fall.
