For Everyone But Especially Northern Girls:
Alabama has basically the biggest rush of any school. It is the most competitive of SEC school rushes. With ECU being a large Southern school, it can be hard to find style that gels with all the Southern girls going through Recruitment. When you think of sororities, you think of Lilly Pulitzer dresses in all the fun and flirty prints and modern shapes. There are other Southern designers/websites to look to for Recruitment, Back to School casual and Game Day dressy. On par with Lilly, price wise, is Britt Ryan. Tons of prints, dresses and tops, with the tops pairing perfectly with white jeans. At half to quarter the cost is the website Sideline Sweetie. Gorgeous clothes you can dress up or down, cute rompers, swing and maxi dresses, breezy tanks. The most expensive I saw was $88. There was a ton of purple in the collection, perfect for Game Day and showing school pride. The accessories were very cute, too. When looking at the different rush days and the suggestions given by Alabama Pan and ECU having similar rush days and clothing suggestions, you might as well learn from the leaders in sorority rush and membership, the SEC. Northern girls take note. We (I'm from NYC suburbs) tend to be too edgy and it can make us stand out. Doesn't matter how designer your wardrobe is. Fun, flirty and feminine rules during Southern rush regardless of whatever sorority you like. As I've said before, this is like a job interview where looks do matter
