sorority rush

Are the houses relatively close together? I'm just thinking about walking from house to house during recruitment and sweating because its so hot and stuff. If they are super far apart how do we deal with that? Do we walk?

for meet and greet and philanthropy you're in the convention center, and for house tour and pref night you're bussed to houses that aren't close

Even for the houses that are close together, you'll ride a bus. If I remember correctly, you return to campus after visiting each house.

In case of rain, always have a second outfit prepared for the suggested attire for each day. If you make it to Pref, don't wear an all black or all white dress. I read a blog and the girl wore the same color Pref dress as the sorority girls and got a little lost in the crowd. Red, blue, cream, pink are ok. Printed...nothing wild. Long last make up and waterproof mascara are a must. Oil blotting papers are a great idea if you sweat or have oily skin. Don't wear anything that can show perspiration marks. Deodorant only goes so far in some of the weather here.
