Chi O is a big name but oddly irrelevant. You don't hear much about them during the year except for recruitment and homecoming. Their recruitment video for this year was adorable and portrayed a very sweet and genuine sisterhood. If that's truly what they are like, I'd love to see so much more of that around campus.

The generalization I'd make about this sorority are southern and old money. Every piece of overpriced "basic sorority" apparel- adpi's got it. Don't get me wrong, I can't fault a girl for having money and showing it off, hell I'd do it if I could. But if that's not your lifestyle than I recommend a different sorority. Definitely not a very social group. Adpi is the sorority to be in the Deep South and that shows even at ECU. Lots of heavy southern accents and camo.

What can I say about tri sigma... Not much. They are very involved and put their full effort into all Greek life events. I've only known one of them so I can't say much about their women as a whole, but my trisig friend was very sweet and very involved in her sorority.

I consider this the "sporty" sorority. Every sister that I know (which does not mean ALL of the sisters) played varsity or competitive sports in high school. They have a very successful Ziti event. A fun rowdy bunch in general.

This is not the sorority that the name chasers will go to, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Most of the girls I've met in this sorority aren't obsessed with the sorority image, and are confident in who they are. They have a dog event that's very popular, and a chili event that they can't quite seem to get the hang of. They seem to care about each other and their letters a lot.

Several of my friends joined Phi Mu when it came to campus a few years ago. These girls are very driven, the ones I know excell at their majors. Their advisors are stuck up and the sorority isn't fantastic at recruitment yet due to being so new, but are improving every year.

Don't know a ton about them and can't think of their philanthropy or what they've done for it (of course they have events, everyone does). The few I've met are sweet and quirky, but reserved. I can say that I know they have lots of fun together and have some very fun mixers.

These women are INTENSE during recruitment, which as a Pi Chi was fun to experience. The girls I've known have all been very friendly and unconcerned with "tiers". Not sure what their philanthropy IS, but I do know that they put on lots of successful events to raise money for it.

Used to be cool but basically every pretty/cool girl has graduated or dropped. Tons of girls have dropped this past year...seems as though they can put on a good show for recruitment but that's about it
