Greeks do a lot of community work, but parties are the thing here. Schools is not as easy as many think to get into. Hazing is still a thing, mostly among the older fraternities, and can be quite harsh, but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. Most newer groups don't haze, or only do light hazing. Sororities absolutely do not haze, and if a new member reports hazing, the sorority is dealt with immedately and sternly. Fair alumnae support.. Even in a small group, a student will enjoy great brother/sisterhood and fabulous parties. Non-greeks eventually seem to find their groups, but it's much harder and some never connect.
