Honestly, if this was a few years ago, my ratings would be way different but Greek life at USF has made substantial gains and at this point it has become pretty essential to be in a fraternity or sorority if you want to get in on the social scene. I would definitely put USF Greek life in upper tier in Florida. USF has some stupid housing rules but some chapters like Phi Delta Theta have gotten around this but other than that it’s very good. Tampa is next to only Miami when it comes to nightlife and fraternities at USF are at the head of Tampa nightlife. Overall I’d highly recommend joining a frat or sorority if you care about having a good time and making the most of your 4 years (and yes, you will be hazed, anyone saying there is no hazing is lying or not in Greek life)
