For all the wokeness and anti-frat sentiment at Berkeley, the Greek scene is really solid. There’s only like 5 relevant fraternities and maybe only 3 relevant sororities but it’s not too competitive and even if you’re not in a “top house,” you can have a fun time. Top frats will haze hard but the rest are pretty easy. Really social people at Berkeley Greek life, definitely join if you’re outgoing and want to experience a more full social scene
