If you’re white and have money you’ll go far here. If you’re white and middle class you’ll still make it further than the minorities or the students drowning in debt. It’s a popularity contest at this school and if you can’t fit the stereotypes (even thought they don’t want to acknowledge them) then you won’t get a bid. POC exclusively have issues pledging and rushing in houses. You could be the kindest, coolest, most outgoing person ever with the highest GPA and if your skin tone is darker than the fake spray tans on a white sorority girls skin, you can count yourself out. The university isn’t associated with Greek life so we (minorities and POC) have no where to turn as the nationals board for every house is comprised of white rich men who have yet to respond to emails atleast acknowledging the racial bias.
