Like everything at UVA it’s a competition to be in Greek life and honestly it’s not worth it. Clubs at UVA behave the same way geek life does and they have houses, parties, formals, etc. Greek life is a big money sink and only the white rich kids can participate. They try to offer scholarships and make it more inclusive but it’s not working. Especially with only 15 sororities it’s almost impossible to get a bit unless you are gorgeous, have money, or are a legacy.
