Please be aware that Albany, both the City and the University, are uniformly hostile to traditional social fraternities. The Albany Police Department reluctantly patrols the student ghetto per municipal policy, while the University sends its own official(s) along with police patrols in order to identify and persecute actively not only the alleged offending party or parties at off-campus parties, but also the Greek-letter social organizations with which they are affiliated.
