From a sorority girls perspective at MSU, I would say the Greek life system here as a whole is great. I’m in a more top sorority so I’ve experienced the All great sisterhoods, social events, etc. the only downfall I would have to say is our boards. Compared to other schools pha has very strict sometimes pointless rules that lower us in our Greek life quality/traditions. We aren’t allowed to say “rush” or call our new girls babies or pledges. We also can’t wear buttons to tailgates. I’ve noticed other chapters at other schools of the same sororities being able to It’s a very sensitive environment that takes away the fun in the traditions of Greek life. Also I would say our frats lack as well. I maybe hang around 1 fraternity now because the others are just average if not lame. Also there’s been a lack in social events which have brought everything down. I’ve had some great times, but what I’m saying I probably would’ve had better ones at a bigger school like MiZ somewhere like that. But overall, i love my sisters & our Greek life is way more supportive of each other with I love. If it’s your scene, it’s a great Greek system
