As a freshman, the first semester is really boring and its a little difficult to find friends since its hard to actually meet people. I honestly believe everyone should at least try to rush either frat or srat because it can completely change your attitude over this school! It gets you involved in a community, broadens your social life, and can help you meet the most amazing people you will ever have in your life!Don't have an attitude that you shouldn't have to "buy friends" because the money you do pay goes to the events and organizations. The money has nothing to do with your ability to make friends and honestly the bonds i made are priceless. You can always make more money but you can never get these four years back. Don't live with regrets. There are so many people that I know that didn't rush their freshman year and completely regret it! I honestly have no idea what my life would be like if I hadn't gone greek but I do know that it is one of the BEST decisions I've made.
