Greek life is pretty much the center of the party scene here and it's really fun. Greeks are super present during o-week, homecoming, halloween, St. patty's, and obviously Slope Day. Only downside is the social-climbing/competitive nature, which I feel is actually way worse here than other places because Cornell students just tend to be more insecure overall. That being said, brotherhood/sisterhood is amazing and it's great to have a whole organization standing behind you, and it's fun to get close with other houses. Mixers can be hit or miss but multiways make things way better as they're pretty much the size of an open party, just with way more people you know and cooler people you actually want to party with. Definitely worth joining if you go here.
