Only one female organization and chapter is represented as having their own house while every single male fraternity at Murray, has their own house. Wish something would change and that female organizations would invest in either renting or owning a piece of their communities real estate so that the girls can have the same experience as the guys. Cleaning a meeting room that is shared amongst every sorority but one and getting it ready for events, just isn't the same! Greek life is a huge thing on campus and that's where most of the philanthropy is done at. It looks great on your resume to be involved in non-profit philanthropy work so I suggest joining but I really wish chapters would be more open to providing people who are thinking of rushing with a rush package that includes the cost of dues, cost of pins, what kind of outfits will be required for major events. etc. Hidden fee's are never fun for anyone.
