OSU Greek life is amazing socially over the 3 years that I have been involved in Greek life on our campus I have made friends in almost every chapter, sororities and fraternities alike. However, I have found that the housing is all over the place. Some fraternities have bits and pieces that are really nice while others are super trashy and you can tell they don't know how to use a vacuum. This also can create a barrier for some potential new members, especially among the sororities because everyone wants to live in a beautiful new house and have an amazing sisterhood with genuine members. Due to this, these two ideals do not always align which is unfortunate because it can prevent potential new members from joining the chapter they really fit best in. All in all, though OSU Greek life is high quality in friendships and I would recommend it to anyone looking to make lifelong friends.
