One of the most intense Greek scenes in the country bc of the money. I have friends as USC and Bama that are intimidated by SMU greeks bc of the money and entitlement. For girls and boys it’s all about who you know. I know billionaires and international models in bottom tier sororities because they didn’t know the “right” people. Anyone who thinks Greek life doesn’t run the school is wrong. All you have to do is attend a Blvd to see the divide. That being said, join a organization you think you fit in with because regardless of tier you’re with future billionaires anyway. There are wealthy and beautiful people in every organization as well as horrible people. SMU is its own world.
