Despite of the housing quality, the amount of the on-campus Greek houses are very low than the amount of the active fraternities and sororities. There are 6 (official & legitimate) Greek houses at Greek Circle and 1 fraternity own dorm building and two sororities own another dorm building. I feel the housing for Greek life are very limited for all other fraternities and sororities that doesn't get any on-campus, forcing us to appoint a weekly meeting at an building on campus. We don't show much of the excitement when we don't have a chapter house. Parties and alcohol are banned on campus so we party off-campus instead and rent cheap houses for FEW of us to live in together. The selection is surprisingly very easy, I got into fraternity without knowing a single of them, I would just say "I'm very interested in that fraternity" and I got a bid soon after. This should have made a little more competitive instead of being more open to join. Other than that, Greek life is decent. Just not that great.
