Less than 10% go Greek and I noticed that those who are in Greek life love it while those who aren’t don’t reslly care. No pressure to go Greek but it’s been competitive lately. Overall Greek life at NYU is prettt solid. There is no pressure to join but if you want to, it might be a little tougher to join the reputable ones. Solid city party scene so instead of sad basement houses, most fraternities and sororities have their parties at great clubs. If you’re a freshman or just a someone considering to do Greek life, I’d definitely give it a shot. I’m in Greek life and I love it so far.
