If you're not in a Greek organization or not incredibly rich you cannot have fun at the University of Miami. The top fraternities are Sig Ep, Sigma Chi, and SAE. The top sorority is DG, followed by SDT and DPhiE. Fraternities not only control the weekend pool party scene, they also have most of the major promoters and control who gets into clubs in South Beach. Joining and getting involved is the best way to ensure a good time in Coral Gables.
