NYU maybe not be known for greek life (some people are shocked to find out we even have it at all!) but I honestly can't imagine being a member of the greek community at any other school. NYU is a big school in an even bigger city so it's quite easy to feel lost and lonely. But joining a sorority was the best decision I made in my college career so far. I no longer felt lost and alone; instead, I have amazing friends, exceptional networking opportunities, and a home away from home. I thought I hated NYU and desperately wanted to transfer, but joining greek life made me love it and want to stay.
