Comment:  To answer below, affiliate means they grew outside of the greek system already in place here at state, they "Crashed the Campus" i.e. they formed a chapter outside of SDSU, and are now trying to become a part of IFC. Affiliation means that they can do events with IFC, they simply don't get a vote in IFC meetings nor do they sometimes get to fully participate in IFC events. It in no way means they are getting kicked off. It has to do with their creation.
