Comment:  as someone whose best friend dropped out of this chapter, i've seen first hand how empty of an experience it really is. the opportunity to meet some wonderful individuals is not worth the cattiness, snobbery, or lack of sisterhood in alpha phi. my friend says all the time that she wishes she'd joined a good organization and not just good girls, because in all likelihood she would have become friends with the girls anyway.
