Comment:  I don't think these girls recruit for money. I think that some of the girls have rich families, which in turn allow them to buy expensive clothes and have certain tastes attributed to the "upper class". During recruitment, a lot of girls bond and start conversations by saying "that's so cute!" and "where'd you get those shoes?" so it would make sense that these girls would be drawn to girls who have the same style they do. Many people find comfort in what is familiar to them. Just the truth.
