Comment:  As someone who was actually in the UConn chapter of Beta, I can say that while there were plenty of nice guys, the brotherhood aspect was lacking. Most of the brothers wouldn't admit it, but they were stigmatized by not being considered a normal "frat." Other chapters put them down, often enough to their face. This resulted in an unhealthy amount of internal sniping amongst brothers, as transfer of aggression occurred.
