Comment:  kappa is definitely a top house. i would just be careful because rush is huuuugely based on looks, and trust me I've heard it from countless girls in this house. It makes for a gorgeous pledge class but not a huge amount of substance. super fun girls, some are definitely going places, but they do have the reputation (while not always warranted) of being stuck up, vapid and not all that smart.
