Comment:  I am the Mom of a Pepperdine Kappa and I am surprised by the fact that some people seem to think Kappas are completely money-centric. There are some girls who come from wealthy families in Kappa, but that seems to be the case with most of the sororities. (Pepperdine itself could probably be classified as an upper-middle class school.) Money has never been broached once with my daughter and she has made all of her friends with and through her Kappa sisters! Such lovely girls!
