Comment:  Delta Alpha Theta is a LOCAL sorority that is NATIONALLY recognized- therefore national sorority. Being LOCAL means this is the only chapter (so far!), as Delta Alpha Theta expands, this would be the headquarters and founding chapter. Being LOCAL means you get to leave your mark on the sorority- it does not mean it's a fake sorority, but it is a different experience than being a member of an international sorority. Both have their advantages and disadvantages- figure out what's best for YOU!
