Snap bids are given when a sorority does not have enough bids accepted during formal recruitment to match the number that Panhellenic designates as QUOTA- a number based solely on the number of girls going through recruitment. Spring Recruitment is for those houses under TOTAL- in short, a # based on the # girls in each org.
